RIVERO MARTA JORGELINA

Marta Jorgelina Rivero nació en la ciudad de La Plata, capital de Buenos Aires, vive actualmente en Santa Rosa, La Pampa.  Es egresada de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata y de la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales en museos y salas de arte de distintas instituciones, algunas de sus pinturas han  sido seleccionadas y distinguidas con premios en distintos Salones, su obra ha sido  declarada de interés legislativo por la Honorable Cámara de Diputados de  la Provincia de Buenos.

Se ha desempeñado como docente en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Provincia de La Pampa, y en su taller. Ha participado en la elaboración de bases y como jurado en distintos concursos de arte y de arquitectura. Su pintura es de tendencia expresionista en la utilización del color y en el planteo de las formas. Hay obras suyas en museos y colecciones privadas en Argentina, México DF y España.

Como arquitecta, cabe destacar, entre sus obras la Escuela Provincial EGB3 “Unidad número 10”, el Parque Oliver y la Iglesia “Jesús Divina Misericordia”, ubicados en Santa Rosa, capital de La Pampa, y entre sus funciones:  autora en equipo pluridisciplinario del Plan de Ordenamiento Urbano de la ciudad de Santa Rosa, se desempeñó como Jefa del Área de Planeamiento Urbano en la Municipalidad de Santa Rosa, ha sido asesora designada por la Asociación de Arquitectos de la Provincia para el llamado a concurso de proyectos de los edificios centrales del Colegio de Abogados de la provincia de La Pampa, en Santa Rosa y General Pico y jurado designado por el directorio del diario La Arena para la selección del proyecto de su actual sede.

Marta Jorgelina Rivero was born in the city of La Plata, capital of Buenos Aires, Argentina, now lives in Santa Rosa. She graduated from Architecture and Urbanism College of La Plata National University and from the Fine Arts Superior School of La Plata National University.

She has also taken part in several individual exhibitions in museums and art galleries which belong to different institutions. Some of her paintings have been selected and awarded prizes in different halls. Her work has been distinguished by the Honorable Deputy Chamber of Buenos Aires province, having been declared of legislative interest.

Marta Rivero has also taught at the Fine Arts School of La Pampa province and in her studio. She has also participated in the setting of the bases and as member of the jury in several art competitions. Her painting has an expressionist tendency in the use of colour and the laying out of shapes. Some museums and private collections in Argentina, México DF and Spain show some of her works of art.

It is very important to stress her work as an architect. Among her achievements, EGB3 Number 10 Provincial School, Oliver Park and Jesús Divina Misericordia Church in Santa Rosa, capital of La Pampa province, can be mentioned.

Regarding public duties, she is the author, together with a multi- disciplinary team, of the Urban Ordering Plan in Santa Rosa city. She worked as the Urban Planning Area director at Santa Rosa Town Hall and has been appointed as consultant by the Province Architect Association on the occasion of the selection of projects for the central buildings of La Pampa province College of Lawyers in Santa Rosa and General Pico cities. She was also appointed as jury by La Arena newspaper managing board for the selection of the project for the building of its present head office.
